Otherwise, perhaps you’re wondering, “Why should I join Renaissance, or any church or spiritual community for that matter?” Perhaps you already attend services regularly, contribute when the offering plate is passed, and get involved in other ways.

Well, the primary reason for joining a spiritual community is commitment! You can attend every Sunday as a friend, but membership is a formal expression of a deeper level of commitment. Faithful attendance, giving of our tithes, and getting involved brings us closer in communion with God and creates a connection to others.

Together as a congregation, we listen and learn; we share our experience and talents; we grow in our knowledge and faith. We enjoy each other’s company.

Being a member allows us to more fully experience the love and fellowship which abounds in the wonderful spiritual community called Renaissance Unity.
